The Desire Of Our Hearts

I love sharing the Mormon Messages videos. This week, the video is particularly touching - it's called "Trusting in the Lord".

We all have times, when the desire of our hearts doesn't materialize in the timely manner, that we would like. Those are the times, when we truly must trust that Heavenly Father knows what our needs are, and is preparing us to receive His blessings, on His timeline, for us.

Each one of us holds deep within our heart, a strong desire for "something" to come to pass, that would bring us the joy that we believe will complete our lives. Often times, we must wait, and wait... and wait. Many of us, are still waiting.

Our ability to "endure to the end" I believe, has much to do with these deep inner desires that we yearn for - which often must be equal to our FAITH in the Lord.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Prov 3:4,5

    Lovely video. Very touching. And such a timely message for me in my life, not with adoption but with the fact that we all have desires in our hearts that we're waiting to have granted. Thanks for this.
